A native of Hall County, she was born March 2, 1924, daughter of the late John OKelley and the late Cynthia Smallwood. She was a house-wife. Mrs. Durden was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Durden.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. E. J. Edison, the Rev. Charles Sprvill and the Rev. Chris Yancy officiating. Interment was held at Youth Baptist Church in Loganville.
She is survived by her son, Lewis Durden of Clairmont; daughter, Mrs. Barbara Gobble of Madison; brother, Dean OKelley; sister, Mrs. Lula Gae Partin, both of Gainesville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Simmons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
