-- Mr. Luvius Banks, of 243 Blanch Circle, died July 21, 1989, at Piedmont Medical Center. Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at W.B. Clemons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Barber Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation is 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Clemons Funeral Home.
A native of Fairfield County, he was the son of the late Rev. Thomas Banks and Mrs. Maggie Ashford Banks.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ella Caldwell Banks; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson of Charlotte and Mrs. Delia Adams; brothers, Simpson Banks of Charlotte, Samuel Banks of Flint, Mich.
