Josephine Falcon Lopez passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, three sisters and her husband Joe Lopez, Jr. Josephine and Joe Lopez were the owners of Old Mexico Restaurant for 50 years.
She is survived by her son, Ezequiel Falcon Zamarripa (Karin) of Washington State, daughter Linda Zamarripa Tanguma (John) of Corpus Christi, Texas, stepsons, Joel Lopez (Terry) of Plano, Texas and Jerry Lopez of Austin, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2011 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 16602 FM 624, Robstown, Texas with Rev. Msgr. Michael Howell officiating. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
