Elsie Smith, age 90 of Hamilton passed away at Golden Years Nursing Center on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 6:15 AM. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on April 25, 1920 the daughter of Phil and Alice (Bowling) Collins. Elsie enjoyed flowers and gardening. On March 30, 1936 in Manchester, Kentucky she married Elbert Smith, and he preceded her in death in 1981.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Paul Marcum of Fellowship Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
