Florence Dell Decker Spidell was the daughter of Abraham Darby Decker & Rebecca Clara Simpson Decker.
She was born in Chester Township, Morrow County, Ohio, 31 August 1888 and departed this life, 26 February 1927, age 38 years, 5 months & 26 days.
On 10 December 1911, she was united in marriage to Mr. Ora L. Spidell of Mt Gilead, Ohio. To this union were born two children. William A, age 15 years & Clara Anetta, age 12 years. In the year of 1909 during a series of meetings at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Gilead, she became interested and united with the church. Later she transfered her membership with her husband to the M. E. Church of the same city to which she has ever tried to perform her duties faithfully. Of her immediate family she leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two children, aged mother, two half brothers, and one uncle, besides numberous other relatives and friends, her father having preceded her in death a number of years ago.
