Member of Park Place Baptist Church and retired Pioneers of Southwestern Bell. Was employee of the Bell Telephone Company for 38 years.
Survivors: Brother H.W. Butcher of Baytown; sisters, Mr.s Margaret Morgan, and Mrs. Myrtle Kalbitz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 8, 1979, Niday Chapel with Dr. Joseph Stiles officiating. Burial Hollywood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Houston Fire Departmetn.
