He isn't listed as George T. each year in tax list, but he is occasionally listed apparently as George or George T. Brown. He was last listed as George T. Brown in 1800 in Bedford Co. in the approximate area on the sheet with the Best family.

1791 - listed in Bedford Co., Va tax list with one tithable. Eady not listed. George Thomas not married until 1792. Eady may still be in this household.

1797, Sep 24 - George Thomas Brown still in Bedford County, as he witnessed a deed for William Kanady to John McCoy along with Archelaus Gilliam, John Nichols, Jr. and Patrick Lynch. Then on Feb 27, 1797 the lease was proved by the oath of Archelaus Gilliam, John Nichols, Jr., and Patrick Lynch witnesses whose names are thereunto subscribed. George Thomas Brown's name was not mentioned in February, so I suspect he had gone to Montgomery County by then.
