Susanna was born in late 1775 or early in January of 1776, her christening was Jan 28, 1776 in Belchertown. She was the oldest of 10 siblings. Consult her mother's memorial- Beulah (Parsons) Smith.
Susanna married Thomas Boyd in 1797/98 in Belchertown, but was probably already a resident of Shelburne, with their first child Pliny born in Shelburne on Sept 27, 1798 and Thomas Boyd was from Shelburne. Susannah's parents Edward and Beulah Smith were listed as new members in 1795 to the first Congregational church of Shelburne.
