Cherokee Co. native, retired floral designer

Frances Pullium Hamilton, 81, of Lincolnton, North Carolina died Friday, October 6, 2000 in a Lincoln County care center.

A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Avery and Tina Nichols Pullium and wife of the late Clyde Hamilton. She was a retired floral designer.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary D. Bledsoe of Richmond, Virginia and Marie C. Lancaster of Charlotte, North Carolina; one sister, Hazel Wilson of Charlotte; one brother, Donald A Daughtry of Rich Square, North Carolina; and five grandchildren and four great-granchildren.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, in Valleytown Cemetery with the Rev. Aleck Bledsoe officiating.

Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, was in charge of local arrangements.
