Barbara Murray Webster, 66, of Easley, wife of Benny Webster, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at her home.

Born May 25, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Luther "Red" Murray and Lucille Horne Murray. She was the 2010 Dacusville Citizen of the Year, and was the Honorary Mayor of Dacusville 3 times. She was a founding member of the Dacusville Lioness Club and was a member of Dacusville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Womick of Spartanburg; son, Robbie (Debbie) Womick of Byron, GA; brothers, Dickie (Janice) Murray, Buddy Murray, Jim (Kim) Murray, and Jack (Becky) Murray; sisters, Becky Collins, Betty (Larry) Denton, and Brenda Tollison; and one grandchild, Layne Womick.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, James Womick; daughter, Libby Sellers; brothers, Ronnie Murray, Everette Horne, and Harold Dean Murray; and sister, Delores Buescek.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday, April 17, 2011, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow at 5:00 PM at Spring Hill Memorial Gardens, Chesnee, SC.

Robinson Funeral Homes-Downtown, is assisting the family.
