Mr. Hancock died July 3, 1993, in Cookeville General Hospital.
Born October 3, 1937, in Buffalo Valley, he was the son of the late Oscar
and Ruby H. Smith Hancock. Mr. Hancock was a farmer.
His family includes four sons, Johnny Ray Hancock of McMinnville, and
Charles, Ricky and Ronnie Hancock, all of Carthage; three daughters,
Carolyn, Tine and Rhonda Hancock, all of Carthage; two brothers, Harold and
J. B. Hancock of Baxter; one sister, Ella Mae Alvis of Sparta; and several
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Hancock and two sisters,
Flossie Mae Blanchard and Irene Ramsey.
