Pauline E. Cleaver, 89, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday afternoon. She was born Dec. 12, 1891 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Oscar W. and Edith Morris Patterson.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cleaver, Nov. 22, 1969, and a brother Robert M. Patterson.
She is survived by two sons, Oliver B. Cleaver of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and John P. Cleaver of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Mrs. J. D. (Catherine) Hunter of Santee, Calif., and Mrs. L. M. (Ester) Zuercher of Wooster; one brother, Curtis A. Patterson of New Philadelphia, Oh.; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Chambers of Sebring; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, Dillonvale, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd Smith officiating. Burial in Short Creek Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
