Lucky was adopted as a kitten from a death row animal shelter in TN on Aug,24,1991 , just as we went in the shelter someone brought in 3 kittens in a box.I saw Lucky picked her up and said "shes the one for me". She grew into a loving gentle sweet and very affectionate cat. Lucky was mostly a outdoor cat and enjoyed roaming the open land around our house.But she also loved to stay in the house for a nap on the couch or sit in the kitchen when dinner was being cooked. She was friends with two dogs Tessie, Dobie and a cat Blaze. Sadly Lucky died from injuries she suffered in a freak car accident while running from a stray dog.Lucky climbed into the car motor and her leg was cut badly, she was rushed into emergency for surgery. But several weeks later the infection spread. Poor Lucky was in alot of pain and she could no longer make it and we were all very sad.. Lucky is loved and missed everyday. I make sure now my pets don't roam outside or get anywhere near traffic..
