Known as "Lee" to many and "Sonny" to his family, he was born March 16, 1942, in Preble County, Ohio, to Roy and Edith Sheard. He attended school in Eaton and Gratis and had also lived in Camden, all in Ohio. Lee spent most of his life in the retail automotive business as a service manager in Florida and California. He was a veteran of the U.S, Army, and a member of the Eagles Lodge in Germantown, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Darlene Sheard Hale.
He is survived by sisters, Betty (Everett) Conger of Clearwater, Florida, and Donna (Bill) Hamilton of Centerville, Indiana; brothers, Dick (Faye) Sheard of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Bob Sheard of Phoenix, Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
At his request, there will be no memorial service.
