Funeral services for Mildred Geersen Lunnon, 70 of Des Moines, Iowa formerly of Cheyenne will be held Saturday with John M Pattison officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Cheyenne. Mrs. Lunnon died Monday at Des Moines. She had lived in Cheyenne until her recent marrage to Durward Lunnon and moved back to Iowa.
She was born in Des Moines on May 31, 1899. in 1927 she came to Wyoming with her husband and two young children, living for a few years in Cheyenne and later at Albin. She moved back to Cheyenne in 1953. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband Durward Lunnon; two children, Wayne R. Ross of Austin and Virginia Lundberg of Albin; and a sister Irene Peterson of Cheyenne.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; Bruce and Mary (Rowson) Warfel, her husband George Geersen, and sister Mary Hahn. She was Married to Durward Lunnon at the time of death. He died in Rockford, IL 11/1982.
