Tacoma New Tribune May 1, 1959

Mrs Carrie Alice Holbourne, 90, of 5423 So Alder St died Thursday in a local hospital. She had been ill for ten years. Born in Iowa, she had lived in Montesano 60 years before coming here 16 years ago.

She was a member of the Church of God.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs S Edward Munson and Mrs C Edward Clark, both of Tacoma, and Mrs F T Mahr of Seattle; two sisters, Mrs Louise Wilkie of Concord, Calif, and Mrs Lettie Figge of Auburn, Calif; two brothers George O Watson of Cosmopolis and Frank O Watson of Centralia; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday from the Buckley-King Funeral Home with the Rev E G Brown officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemtery. Pallbearers will be Paul Langraf, Walter Hesse, Max Waldron, Al W Bates, Arthur M Standish and Steve Politakis.
