Ladell Keeney, 87, of San Saba passed away Monday, February 16, 2009 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Ladell was born November 27, 1921 in Babyhead, the daughter of Lloyd Fleming and Emma Beasley Fleming. On December 5, 1945 Douglas Keeney and Ladell Fleming were married in San Antonio, Texas. She attended the Methodist Church.

Ladell is survived by one son, Radow Keeney and his wife, Cathy of Jarrell; one daughter, Linda Linn and her husband, Ronnie of Alamogordo, N.M.; five grandchildren, Jamie Johnson; Kristi Wilborn and her husband, Duane; Shane Linn and his wife, Brigette; Tara Ponder and her husband, Arlan; and Nicole Linn; five great-grandchildren, Leilani Johnson; Christian Wilborn; Makenzi Ponder; Kalei Ponder; and Hannah Linn; one sister, Mona Gutierrez of Hemit, California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ladell is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and one sister.

Services were held Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Conner officiating. Interment followed at the Chappel Cemetery.

The family received friends, Saturday, February 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel.
