Son of Nathaniel & Esther (Belden) Gunn; md. 1st in NY; wife's name not known and she died childless; md. 2nd 6/17/1789-90 to Eleanor, dau of Elisha & Elizabeth (Smith/Lewis) Ingraham of So. Hadley, b ?6/2/1754 by whom he had 2 children Gustavus, b abt 1791 and Elizabeth Ingram, b abt 1793. Was a physician, settled in Montague; was an ardent Whig during the Revolution and rendered much local service; represented Sunderland and Montague in the General Court. Grad Yale College, 1748.
