Surviving are three sons, Roger W. Ames, Thomas E. Ames, and Donald R. Ames; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Linda) Brenly and Mrs. George (Darlene) Bechtol; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dale, James F. and Raymond; three sisters, Mrs. Alva (Myrtle) Johnson, Mrs. Carl (Virginia) Davis and Mrs. Roy (Esther) Conkle; nieces and nephews.
