LIBERTY, March 31. - Funeral for Franklin L. Williams, 76, who died suddenly, Monday nigh at 9:30 o'clock at his home seven miles southwest of here, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist church and interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Williams, who was a farmer is survived by his wife, who before marriage was Miss Connie Jordan (I think this is an error referring to his wife, death certificate has Sylvina York as wife), a son. B. C. Williams, of Faison; five daughters, Mrs. Clay McPherson, Snow Camp, Mrs. A. H. Thomas, Siler City, Mrs. Louis Holes, Lumberton, Mrs. L. A. Edwards and Mrs. Willy Todd, Liberty; a brother, E. P. Williams, Staley; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
