Mrs. Leone Alley
DEPORT - Mrs. Leone Alley, 82, Rt. 1, Detroit, died Tuesday, June 30, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, at the Fulbright Baptist Church with burial in Bethel Cemetery by Grant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alley was born Oct. 29, 1909, in Delta County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sandlin. She was a member of the Fulbright Baptist Church. She married John D. Alley Dec. 25, 1927, He died Nov. 8, 1987.
Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, John A. and Evelyn Alley and W. W. and Charlotte alley, all of Detroit; a sister, LaNell Murrell of Commerce; her stepmother, Ruth Sandlin of Commerce; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
