He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Benjamin Fred Alexander and Flora Gertrude (Clark) Alexander,
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery, (now known as Magnolia Gardens) Corinth, Alcorn Co., MS.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today
He is survived by his wife Edna Pauline (Killough) Alexander to whom he was married November 19, 1938; two daughters, Betty Carolyn (Alexander) Hinton of Paris, TN and Ruth Ann (Alexander) Cooper of Sumrall, MS; one brother, Kyral Alexander of Bloomington, IN; three sisters, Truie Felker, Lena Martin, and Oma Lee McMillan all of Corinth, MS; four grandchildren, Faith Walker, Hope Cooper, Scott Cooper and Cody Cooper; three great grandchildren Tally Walker, Shelton Walker and Cole Cooper.
