He was born April 9, 1949, in Chicago, to Michael and Marion (Haiman) Piccolo.
He was a member of Local 301 Teamsters, worked for Galaxy Carwash Trucking, enjoyed swimming with his grandchildren, cooking out, and bowling and was a member of USBC.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Nicole (Steve) Morris; his grandchildren, Alexis, Mar¬ga¬ret and Caitlin Morris; a brother, Dan (Janet) Duffy; a niece, Callie Duffy; and an uncle, William (Mary Ann) Haiman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; his mother, Marion Duffy; and his grandmother, Barbara Haiman.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. Prayers will be said at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass celebration at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Naill officiating. Interment will be in St Mary's Cemetery, McHenry.
