HARRY PEAKE: Resident of Clint 15 years, died in his home there yesterday. He was 81 and is survived by a sister Mrs. George Celum of Clint and two brothers, Ben Peake of Oklahoma City, and A. F. Peake of Dragoon, Ariz. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Restlawn Monday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Vernon Yearby will officiate. Kaster and Maxon will have charge.

Harry kept a memorandum book used in Probate.
A small memorandum book was used by Harry Peake, Clint, in which to write his last will, leaving two lots valued at $200 to his sister Mrs. George Celum. The entire memorandum book was filed for probate today. "I do not want to be taken to El Paso and cost a lot of money," Mr. Peake wrote. "Bury me down here somewhere and keep what I have for yourself."

Harry left home of parents in Cloudcroft NMex., around 1880 and went up to the Dakato Territory, then around 1890 I find him in Elk City, Idaho. His death certificate states he was a miner. There was a lot of gold at that time in Idaho. His sister Dee Peake Mullen went to live with her brother in Idaho after the death of her husband James L. Mullen, she had two small children, it appears Harry must have returned to El Paso around 1925/26 after the death of his sister Dee.

Harry never married.
