Delroy, March 22 - John Blessing,
a laborer, died this afternoon at 2:15
o'clock at his home here from a
complication of diseases, after a
lingering illness. Mr. Blessing, the
son of the late John and Rebecca
Blessing, was 58 years of age.
The deceased, who was a member
of the Canadochly Reformed Sunday
school, is survived, besides his wi-
dow, Carrie Gilbert Blessing, by one
step-son, Melvin Gilbert, this place,
and the following sisters and broth-
ers: Mrs. Benjamin Mittle, Marga-
retta Furnace; Jacob Blessing,
Windsor; George Blessing, Yoe;
Henry Blessing, Dallastown; Peter
and Albert Blessing, both of Wrights-
ville.
The funeral will be held Saturday
afternoon with brief services from
his home at 1:30 o'clock, and con-
cluding services in the Canadochly
Reformed church. Interment Will be
made in the adjoining cemetery.
Funeral Director Henry Burg, East
Prospect, has charge of arrange-
ments.
