Helen Altevogt, 98, of Staunton died Friday, June 14, 2002, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Staunton. She was born April 28, 1904, in Mount Olive, the daughter of Michael and Rose Supan Biscan. She married Otto Altevogt; he died in 1966. Mrs. Altevogt, a homemaker, was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and Quilting Ladies; and a charter member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Staunton. Survivors" a brother, Otto Boston of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Michael's Catholic Church in Staunton, the Rev. George Radosevich officiating. Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton is in charge of arrangements.
