Mr. Rountree was survived by a son, Lloyd Rountree of Oregon; two daughters, Nettie Basye of Los Angeles and Virginia Libby of Angels Camp; a sister, Edith Cook of North Hollywood, and two brothers, Tom Rountree of Columbia and John of Fricot City, California.
Funeral services were held from the Terzich-Wilson Funeral home in Sonora. Interment followed in the family plot in the Columbia City cemetery.
Leo was 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighed 140 pounds. He had blue eyes, brown hair and a ruddy complexion. He had a scar on his left wrist. He worked for Richmond Ship Building Corporation in Richmond, California. He had no middle name.
