Kenneth Capps, 63, of Falls City, NE, passed away April 28, 2011 at Falls City. He was born October 22, 1947 at Falls City to the late Ivan and Gladys (Broady) Capps.


On April 14, 1972 he married Marilyn Fischer at Falls City.


Kenneth was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1966. Following graduation he enlisted in the Army National Guard. He worked at the Auburn National Guard from 1973 to 1986, then moved back to Falls City and served in the National Guard from 1986 to 1987. He retired from the National Guard in 1987. He worked for Carter-Waters from 1987 to 1997, at Wengers in Sabetha, KS from 1997 to 2006; at Casino White Cloud for one year and retired in 2007 due to his health. He was a member of American Legion Post #102 at Falls City.


Kenny is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Falls City, sons, David and his wife Karla of Falls City, Scott of Falls City and Ryan and his wife Gina of Newton, NJ, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Elaine Pierce and a niece, Laura Pierce.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
