Ed. Blackmore Dies in Maryland

Edward W. Blackmore, 63, Hyattesville, Md., former resident of the Royal Valley community, died February 14 at Hyattesville. Funeral services were held at the Demaine Springfield Annandale Chapel, Backlick at Edsall Road, Springfield, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in the Fairfax Memory Gardens.

He was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Blackmore February 4, 1908 at Plainview, Neb. He received his education in the Lusk schools and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in economics. He moved to Washington in 1939 and retired as a government employee in 1968.

Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Lynn Blackmore and one son, William E. Blackmore; one sister, Mrs. Anna Mae Lint; five brothers, Clyde, Theron, Harold, Guy and Gene Blackmore.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Blackmore of Lusk and Theron Blackmore of Casper attended the services.
