Patrick Bulger was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, May 15, 1856 to Lawrence Bulger and Bridget Walsh Bulger, both of his parents were born in Ireland; Lawrence born in 1823, Bridget in 1825. They were married in Belleville, Ontario, Canada in 1850. They both died in 1900 in Stephen, MN., where they are buried.
Patrick came to the United States in 1872. He married Mary Ann Fitzgerald on April 6, 1880, at Shawano, Shawano Co., Wisconsin. Mary Ann was born July 20, 1858 at Watertown, Wisconsin.
Patrick and Mary had 9 children. Their first 5 children were born in Minto, North Dakota. They moved to Stephen, Minn. in about 1892 and there they had 4 more children. Patrick died Jun 18, 1938. Mary Ann died Aug 2, 1938. Both are buried in Stephen, Mn. at Saint Stephen Cemetery. Their forth child was Jane (Jennie) Bulger, my grandmother.
