Directly to left of Isreal's grave lies Sallie Catherine Knowles Mitchell. There is no marker except a large cement slab and a large piece of stalactite (cave formation) mounted on a base of cement, (She died at the age of fifty. She was born April 18, 1866 and died April 11, 1916. These dates are from the announcement of her death, edged in black and in the possession of her granddaughter, Sallie Catherine Pitts, Carlsbad, New Mexico.)
