Guy F. Scott of 4210 Templeton died Friday at 3:15 p.m. in San Antonio.

Funeral service is pending with Sorrells-Peters Funeral Home.

He was born November 8, 1919 in Wolfe City, Texas. Mr. Scott was the owner of Scotties, a local business. He was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife, Elnida Scott; sons, Curtis and Jeff Scott, both of Greenville; daughters, Carol Langford and Nancy Nation, both of Greenville; and a brother, Gary Scott of California.

Guy "Scottie" Scott of 4210 Templeton died Friday at 3:15 p.m. in a San Antonio hospital.

Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. today at Johnson Street Church of Christ with Murphy Phillips and Foster Ramsey officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Sorrells-Peters Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 8, 1919 in Webb Hill to Walter E. and Edith Barrett Scott. He was married June 25, 1944 in Greenville to Elnita Smith. An Army veteran, Mr. Scott was owner of Scotties, Inc. and a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ where he was a former deacon.

Surviving are his wife of Greenville; mother of Greenville; sons, Curtis and Jeff Scott; daughters, Carol Langford and Nancy Nation, all of Greenville; and brother, Gary Scott of Ventura, Calif.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Ann Scott, his brother, Glen Scott in 1933 and his father in 1954.

Pallbearers will be. L.B. Greaves, C.W. Spainhour, Leon Powers, Weldon Hudson, O.G. McCullough, A.A. Wilson and Ralph Barnes.

Sorrells-Peters Home is in charge of arrangements.
