Daisy Leist Barfield died Wednesday, April 1, 1998 at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 86.
Mrs. Barfield, a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Alice Lorena Sanders Leist. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Barfield Sr.; a son, A.D. Barfield Jr.; and two daughters, Joyce L. Barfield and Barbara Barfield.
Survivors include two sons, Walter D. Barfield and Alfred L. Barfield, both of Vicksburg; one daughter, Janice B. Barfield; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fisher Riles Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mickey Bounds, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Al Barfield Jr., Dub Barfield, Lanny Barfield, Brent Barfield, David Barfield and Martin Hallman.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
