According to "Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots about Jacob Lockwood" lists Jacob Lockwood as being buried in the Lockwood Cemetery in Springfield, Vermont. (The Source Citation for this information: Abstract of Graves of Patriots; Vol. 3, Page: Serial: 10675, Vol.: 7.). At some time this cemetery's name was changed from Lockwood to Day Cemetery according to the city office.

The front of the stone has no writing visible on the name portion. The bottom of the stone reads "my children & friends" This stone has a DAR marker from the General Lewis Morris Chapter of the D.A.R.
