VIRGINIA DELA CRUZ SATURINO, 81, of Pepeekeo, died August 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hakalau, she was a retired laundry worker at the Life Care Center of Hilo and a foster grandparent at Kalanianaole School.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. on August 11 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. on Aug 12 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. The family requests casual attire to be worn.
She is survived by sons, Valentin (Norma) Saturino, of Hanford, California, and Jeffrey (Kelly) Saturino, of Hilo; daughters, Geri (Clark) Bibilone, of Pepeekeo, Shirley (Martin) Gomes, of Keaau, and Norma Saturino, of Kona; brother, Anthony (Rose) Baldogo, of Oahu; sisters, Sypriana Nitta, of Pepeekeo, and Conchita Santos of Hilo; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
