Standing four feet four, he appeared in cabaret acts and on the E4 series Fonejacker. A huge rock and roll fan, he played guitar in bands like the Vertigoes.
He was from Merton and at the time of his death lived on Marlborough Road in Colliers Wood. He was a fan of rocker Screaming Lord Sutch and wanted a similar funeral. His funeral at St Boniface Church in Tooting was attended by hundreds of people and he arrived in a white Cadillac hearse in a black coffin decorated with red guitars.
He was noted for helping raise some 40,000 pounds for charity.
