Sophia was born Dec 2, 1787/8. She was a daughter of Patience (Hubbell) and Captain Noble Hine of New Milford, Connecticut. She married Charles Adolphus Boardman of that town on March 7, 1811. They lived in Connecticut where her husband was a merchant. He then entered the clergy in 1818 and they eventually settled in Youngstown, Ohio where he was pastor for 15 years. Their children were Homer, Orinda, Sarah and Laura (perhaps others). She died in 1851.
