Missoula, Mont.--Albert Hermann, a veteran of the civil war
and for 32 years a resident of Missoula, died Nov. 19 at his home here. Heart disease and old age were responsible for his death.
He served with credit in Company A, Ninth Wisconsin Infantry, as a corporal under Capt. Elkhart. He received an honorable discharge on Feb. 14, 1866.
Soon after the war Mr. Hermann came west. For a time he was a rancher near Sheridan; then he came to Missoula. He is survived by a large family. The deceased was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic.
