Fredricka Donnaker was born in Hohenzollern, Germany and was married to Severin Binder in 1874. To them eight children were born, two of whom, one an infant, the other a nun in Austria-Hungarian, died in the old country. All of the children except the youngest were born in Germany; the youngest born in Ellsworth County, Kansas. Fredricka and Severin are buried in the Ellsworth Cemetery, Ellsworth, Kansas.
