Victoria "Vicky" Hale Robinson, 85, of Richmond, born in Halifax, NC, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gardner Robinson; son, Richard Melvin and grandson, Rodney Melvin. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Delorise W. Lambert; son, Willie D. Wright; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister, Dora Kizzie; son-in-law, Richard A. Lambert, Sr.; brother-in-law, Roosevelt Hodges of Philadelphia, PA; a devoted cousin, Jeanette Wade and her family; host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends, one devoted, Lucy Mae Brown. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will received friends Wednesday, May 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, May 12 at First Baptist Church South Richmond, 1501 Decatur St. Rev. Derek Jones, officiating. Eulogist Rev. Harper Greenhowe, pastor of First Independent Methodist Church, where she was a member. Interment Maury Cemetery
