Former U.M. Employee dies at age of 65
Andrew R. Casterline a former employee of the University for 33 years, died yesterday at his home at Smyrna, Mich., folling a year's illness. Hew was born Aug. 20, 1888 son of George and Jennie Casterline. Mr. Casterlin lived here from 1911 until 1944. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rhoda Casterline of Smyrna; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Vera) Zemke of Ann Arbor; four sons, Ray A. of Davisburg, Mich. S/Sgt. Harry B., now stationed at the Selfridge Air Force Base; Conald J. of Milan, and LaVern G., aviation radioman 1/c, stationed at Los Alameda, Calif.; two sisters Mrs. Walter L. Gibson of Detroit and Mrs. Otto Klenbaun of Snover, Mich; two brothers, Victor Casterline and George Watson, both of Detroit; and 19 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Huffman Chapel at Belding, Mich., and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Muehlig Chapel. The Rev. Gene Covey of Ada, Mich., will officiate at both services. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
