JOSEPH BOBACK , 78, of Wilkes-Barre, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at his home. He was born in Plymouth, a son to the late Andrew and Jennie Kratz Boback. Joseph attended St. Vincent's School and was employed at Mercy and First Valley Hospital. He was preceded in death by brothers, Gerald, and Andrew; and niece, Deborah O'Boyle. Surviving are daughters, Mary Ellen Nawrocki and husband, Jim, Swoyersville, Colleen Weiss and Lisa Boback of Edwardsville; four grandchildren, Christopher J. and Samantha Weiss, and Cody and Conner Boback; great-granddaughter Violet; sisters, Jenny Vitale, Helen Boback, and Frances Setta; and nieces, nephews, and companion Frances Norton.
