Vincent Chiavaro, 76, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at home on Tuesday, May 28, 1996. Before retiring in 1976, he was a lieutenant for the New York City Fire Department, where he worked for 28 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Carmel Church in Washington Township.
Beloved husband of Bertha Cecelia (nee Fenty) Chiavaro. Devoted father of Robert Vincent Chiavaro, Peter Chiavaro, and John Chiavaro and Carol Krebs. Cherished grandfather of Ryan Peter, Brendan, Cortney Brooke, Monique Nicole, Lindsay Michelle, Kristyn May, Makenzie Lynn Chiavaro and Austin Krebs. Dear brother of Joseph Thomas Chiavaro Sr.
