Services for Burin Kimbrough, 84, of McCool were held April 3 at 2 p.m. at Abraham Chapel M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Kimbrough, a retired farmer, died March 27, 2002 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Attala County and a member of Abraham Chapel M.B. Church. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Gerthia G. Kimbrough; a daughter, Mary Helen Thompson of Chicago, Ill.; two sons, LaVance Kimbrough of New Orleans, La. and LaVoris Kimbrough of Newport, N.C.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. C.R. Stewart officiated.
Serving as pallbearers were Tafton Miller, Jason Miller, Johnathan Johnson, Michael Brown, Cedric Whitfield and Guadamus Miller.
Winters Funeral Home handled arrangements.
