He was born in Russia and came to Milwaukee in 1905. He was partner in the Badger Home Installation Co., 814 E. Center St., for 13 years. Ten years ago, he began working for the Pioneer Improvement Co. at 2750 N. Oakland Ave.
He was a member of Congregation Beth El Ner Tamid, its Men's Club, Harmony Lodge F. and A.M. Tripoli Shrine, Milwaukee Jewish Home for the Aged, Milwaukee Jewish Convalescent Hospital, Elks Club of Milwaukee, and the Washington Park Lodge of B'nai B'rith.
He is survived by his wife Muriel (nee Brown); a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Langer; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Edith) Goldberg and Mrs. Seymour (Sophie) Nissenbaum, all of Milwaukee, and two brothers, Ervin, of Milwaukee, and Sam of Brookfield.
Burial was in Beth Hamedrosh cemetery.
