Roberta Scherer, 74, of Sumner, died October 1, 1997, at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT.
She was born April 3, 1923, the daughter of Jasper William and Retta Kelsey Harms. She married Russell Scherer February 21, 1948.
She was a homemaker and co-owner of the Lawrenceville Greenhouse for 35 years. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Chruch and Home Extension.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Robert, Dan, and Scott Scherer; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Wayne Scherer, and a brother.
Funeral services were at Siver-tMacey Funeral Home with burial in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
