Lorenzo Garcia, 86 of Chenoa, passed away, March 26, 2011 at St. James-John Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Chenoa.

Lorenzo was born August 10, 1924 in Chenoa the son of Agapito and Felicia (Flores) Garcia. He married Precentacion Ramirez on December 5, 1953 in San Carlos, MX. She survives in Chenoa.

Other survivors include one son; Ernest Garcia, Fairbury and two grandchildren, Anne Marie and Paul Garcia both of Fairbury.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nicolasa Salazar.

Lorenzo served our country in the US Army during WWII and the Korean War. He was employed for over 45 years by GM&O Railroad and later Illinois Central Railroad retiring in 1986. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
