SANDOWN -- Edith R. Teague, 82, died Dec. 20, 2004, at home. Born Sept. 3, 1922, in Plaistow, she was a daughter of Harry F. and Jessie L. (Williams) Robinson. She has lived in Plaistow before moving to Sandown more than 10 years ago. She was a member and Past President of the American Legion Carl G. Davis Unit 34 Ladies Auxiliary of Plaistow and was a past District 4 Director. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Plaistow, where she was a
Sunday school teacher. She was also a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout den mother. She had more recently been a teacher's aide at Pollard School in Plaistow. The family includes her husband, Frederick E. Teague Sr. of Sandown; a
son, Frederick E. Teague Jr. of Sandown; a daughter, Louise P. Coppinger of Middle River, Md.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six sisters, Elsie Pfeffer of Hamden, Conn., Amy Robinson and Mary Robinson, both of Plaistow, Iva Caputo of Sandown, Dorothy McDonough of Plaistow and Marjorie Burnett of Danville; and many nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. The funeral is Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Plaistow Cemetery, Plaistow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary, Carl G. Davis Unit 34 Scholarship Fund, care of Louisa Wolf, P.O. Box 197, Newton Junction 03859.
