Our Great Great Grandmother married Washington Thomas on Sept 28, 1901, in Escambia County, Alabama. At 102 years of age, she still cooked and cleaned for herself. In addition, she raised her own garden.

Pearlie had at least 2 known brothers: Booker Smith and Mitchell Smith, and 10 children.
She was 107 years when she finally was laid to rest.
