Mrs. Hulda Beaty CALDWELL of Charleston died at her home Tuesday. She was born 14 June 1838 in Oh., the daughter of Isaac and Mahela MCCORD BEATY. Came to Lee Co., in 1846 with her parents and has spent the greater part of her life here. She married John CALDWELL in 1873 in Taylor County Iowa. No children. Surviving; two brothers and two sisters; Edward BEATY of Argyle, Ross BEATY of Charleston, Mrs. Sarah GREEN, Clearfield, Iowa and Mrs. W.B. DOHERTY of Argyle. Taken to Keokuk and temporarily placed in the city vault and later be buried in the Embury Cemetery.
